On Saturday, August 23rd, we held our first training session on Early Child Development at Ashraya. Shirley Billage (a church member) trained our housemothers (and other interested parties) on the basic needs of children and how to meet them effectively.
We will host additional sessions as it is crucial that we not only meet the physical, but mental, emotional, social and spiritual needs of our children as well. I want our children to have a strong Biblically-based identity and be completely whole.
